About
Director of Photography

Member of The Danish Association of Cinematographers DFF

Biography
I came into the film and media industry in 2010 with a desire to bring and visually capture inspiring, memorable, beautiful stories and ideas into life. I was born in 1991 in Krakow, Poland and I am based in Copenhagen, Denmark.
In 2012 I studied Film & TV production at Technical College in Denmark. I attended the Polish National Film, Television & Theatre School in Łódź, Poland for Direction of Photography between 2015-2016 and I was mentored by wonderful cinematographers and filmmakers though out the years.
What I offer & create
When I work with creating a visual style for a film, I start by listening, dedicating myself to the story we shape. I observe.
I am here to tell your (Director's) story in the most aligned way, while actively bringing my ideas and visually and technically exploring, building and contributing to the entire project.
On set
Collaboration with the entire team, and embracing the dialogue of emotions plays a huge role in my work. I am passionate about diving deeply into light, colours, nature, Earth elements and human emotions, all that I feel, surrounding us around the entire world.
Another priority of mine is to provide a space for actors on set by creating an environment where they can act, perform and improvise freely.
I enjoy working with hand held camera movements, while using my own body or camera operator's body-language to bring audience closer to the characters and their story.
Teamwork and cooperation with the Director, Producer, Production Designer, Costume Designer, Colour grader and Gaffer are at the center of my work. In post production, I work very closely with my colour grader to further enhance the power of the story after editing.
I am committed to working on projects which are life-affirming, which can inspire us to think, to feel, to sense more, to laugh more and to embrace beauty all around us, to embrace all that we are.
